Ivanhoe Blade

The Ivanhoe Blade is inspired by the spellbinding tales by Sir Walter Scott in which Sir Wilfred of Ivanhoe, a staunch ally of Richard‑ the‑ Lion‑ Heart, returns from the Crusades as a masked knight to reclaim the inheritance his father denied him.

Ivanhoe unites two of the most popular heroes in all of English literature ‑  the Saxon King, Richard‑ the‑ Lion‑ Heart and the people's champion, Robin Hood, team up to defeat the Normans and regain the castle.

This blade with its twin lions on the cross‑ guard is representative of the swords carried by knights returned from the Crusades and makes a dramatic impact when displayed on its own or with accompanying shield.
